If you are looking for a small project that features country boat lady bugs and bees, I think that you will agree that it is too cute! You can easily do this guardian of plateau wooden spool bee hive in less than 2 hours.

I was able to find all supplies that I need to do this project to my craft local supply store. If you do not find the supplies it, I am sure that you can find online.

Supplies you Will need:

wooden spool unfinished 3 "tall".

unfinished 2 1/2 "tall bee hive wooden".

3 unfinished wood 1/4 "tall lady bug shapes"

2 forms of unfinished wood 1 "tall Bee".

unfinished 1 1 "diameter wood sheet"

3 strands of 12 "long raffia (for the manufacture of the bow)"

acrylics: brown, gold metallic, yellow, red, black, white

brushes - fine edge and a flat brush

wood glue or liquid all-purpose crafting glue (better glue wood works)

spraying transparent acrylic sealer

1 piece of sandpaper

scissors

paper towel and a dish of water (to clean your brushes)

Tip: If you have paint pens, you can certainly paint smaller elements (bumble bees, lady bugs and leaf with them to save time).

Step 1: Use a piece of fine sandpaper to smooth out any rough spots and edges on your incomplete pieces of wood. Paint all your pieces of wood with the colors in the photograph. Let them dry for 15-20 minutes before their laminated and painting below. Let them dry for an another 20 minutes.

Step 2: Paste the hive bee wood to the top of your reel, making sure to press them firmly together so that there is no interruption. Two bugs of Lady of glue and two drones for the top and sides of the hive as shown in the photo, followed by a lady bug pasted on the wooden reel.

Step 3: Spray your project together with a lightweight transparent acrylic Hunter spray. (Note: you want to do so before attaching the raffia bow).

Step 4: Cut your raffia down 12 "long filament and form a bow." Trim the ends so that its proper size and glue it on the front of your drawer. You may need to be in place for a minute or two. Put a glob of glue on the back of your leaf shape and he affixes to the Centre of your raffia bow.
